Who Am I ?

Strong, Independant, Loving, Supportive, Bossy, Caring, Wicked, Insane, Hilarious, Cheeky, Stubborn, Loyal, Clumsy, Opinionated ... Those are part of who I am & I am sure in time you will get to know more of who I really am   :)


Otherwise, well the basics are that I am the youngest of 3 girls to a Polio Survivor ( she now has Post Polio Syndrome ) & a Scotsman. I'm a bit of a whoops really, I am 8 & 11yrs younger than my sisters. This had it's good & bad moments I must say haha !

I am a proud proud mama to my two boys if you didn't quite get that feeling in my first post then well please be advised I use a lot of sarcasm & humour, I need it to keep me sane !!!!  For 2yrs now that has been as a single mother which has been quite overwhelming to be honest. It wasn't what I signed up for but there was little choice but to hold on & enjoy the ride ! I can't actually believe it's been 2yrs because it sometimes only feels like yesterday that it all happened but I can be proud of the fact that we have all made it out alive. So far    ;)

Honestly I thought 2yrs ago that my world had come crashing down on me & while I could probably admit that it was coming in a roundabout way, for it all to happen as it did really did feel like I took hit from left field. So I am trying to manage the new life that we are now creating for ourselves which isn't always easy. The boys have struggled as much as I have but at the end of the day I wouldn't want to be without them any more than I would want to go back & change things.

The past is the past & it is what got me here to this point, I have absolutely no idea what lies in front of us & that truly is scary but exciting all the same. Changing any part of that past could mean I wouldn't be a mum to these gorgeous boys & that is just unthinkable. Our 'new' life started & really who knows what it will bring.

So there will be loads of stuff about the here & now for us along with bits from the past. Hopefully with stacks of humour to get us all through it  :)
